Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Be a is part of the team that is responsible for design, configuration, and support of Microsoft Windows Server servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
  • You will be able to apply an engineering thought process to the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technical solutions.
  • You will have excellent customer service skills which will be utilized while interacting with cross functional and team members.
  • You will be responsible for performing system administration services including: design, installation, configuration, maintenance and support for hardware, operating systems and applications; security policy implementation; participation in completing customer change requests and escalated problem ticket resolution.

Job Requirements

Required skills:
  • Must have engineer level of experience implementing and managing various technologies including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
  • Must possess comprehensive understanding of Active Directory intimately from an administrative standpoint, including knowledge of best practices as well as knowledge of intrinsic and 3rd party tools.
  • Strong skills in TCP/IP networking and security are required. 
  • Microsoft best practice knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to implement, and own scalable technology solutions. 
  • Ability to manage medium-large technology projects
  • Must be analytical, well organized and self-directed.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making with regards to sound systems engineering practices and recommendations is required.
  • The ability to manage multiple assigned tasks is critical to success in this position.
  • SAN implementation and/or administration experience
  • Virtualization experience with Microsoft HyperV and/or Nutanix platforms
  • Microsoft System Center Solutions
  • VB and Powershell scripting
  • Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Office 365 experience
