The Eastern Labs Strategy Analyst is responsible for keeping a finger of the pulse of emerging trends impacting Financial Services / Banking and creating robust, data driven analysis and content (e.g. whitepapers, infographics, decks, etc.) for both internal and external audiences. This role will provide analytical and project support for the Chief Digital Strategist, gathering and synthesizing data to help define digital strategy and drive execution of Labs related projects.
Major responsibilities include:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g., industry, market, competitive, customer) and distill conclusions into actionable recommendations for both business and technology leaders
- Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with business unit sponsors/contacts to explore potential applications of emerging technologies
- Lead and support project management activities across the Labs project portfolio, driving towards execution
- Create content for internal/external use (e.g., presentations, process flows, whitepapers) and host educational briefings to bring awareness and educate audiences on relevant topics
- Become a subject matter expert in all things “FinTech” (e.g., technologies, trends, business models, products, start-ups etc.) through research and prototyping activities, ensuring that Eastern has a solid knowledge base
- Act as a brand ambassador for Eastern Banks/Labs at external events whether as an attendee or a participant (e.g., panelist), creating connections with potential partners or other industry experts.
