Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

The Private Client Account Executive will provide service and specified sales support to the agency’s affluent clientele.  Candidate must possess problem solving and critical thinking skills. Candidate must be comfortable analyzing risks and exposures and determining creative solutions on challenging and complicated accounts, must be expert at customer complaint resolution skills.

Major responsibilities consist of the following:
  • Service the customers of the Private Client unit for all products, both in and outside of MA and abroad including: automobile; homeowner (primary, secondary/seasonal, rental, course of construction); umbrella and excess liability coverage; collections; in-home employees as well as coverage analysis and coverage recommendations for associated needs based on standard and unique exposures. 
  • Complete Renewal Reviews  and carrier renewal lists according to agency and carrier guidelines   
  • Sales, including rounding accounts, remarketing accounts and occasional new business. 
  • Project work, as requested

Job Requirements

Education and Experience
  • MA Property and Casualty license in required
  • Complete knowledge of MA RMV procedures and requirements

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written skills including presentation skills
  • Comfortable utilizing technology, including agency management system and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to think and act strategically; work independently, while managing time and prioritization of work
  • Must have strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • must be comfortable meeting with prospects or clients face-to-face off premises.
  • Be able to work with a high level of professionalism and must conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earning implications of the company
  • Must maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Candidate must be goal oriented and comfortable with sales requirements for rounding accounts and coverages
