Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Process all deposit and loan applications generated by the Customer Service Center and loan applications received through the Internet.
  • Provide a high-level of customer service to internal and external customers while assuming the primary responsibility of managing the pipeline of new loan applications and deposit applications from origination to closing.
  • Communicating with customers, Home and Consumer Finance and the Retail branches regarding applications in process to assure the loans and deposit accounts move to closing in a timely manner.
  • Quality reviews all new applications to ensure accuracy for an efficient process.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s Degree or related knowledge/skills base gained through experience preferred
  • 2 – 5 years of banking experience in a customer service environment
  • Work independently and possess superior decision making skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong sales and customer service skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of deposit and loan products
  • Strong knowledge of loan regulatory environment, NMLS registered
  • Projects a customer friendly image over the telephone.  Must be self-motivated.
  • Ensures effective communication with the customer by utilizing superior verbal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office a definite plus
  • Must be able to multi task
