Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Process all incoming Customer and Account maintenance request.  Requests may include customer address changes, name changes; combined statements and telephone number changes as well as various other requests. Adhere to all United States Postal Service guidelines as well as regulations Privacy of Consumer Financial Information and Gramm, Leach, Bliley Act.
  • Research all Return Mail from the U.S. Postal Service.  Mail letters to customers for signature approval for change of addresses received by the USPS.  Code specific account mailings as “bad address” when no new or current address is available.  The coding is done via the Return Mail Database / MassExchange processing.
  • Perform Quality Control on all CIS maintenance performed by others in the CIS Department. Identify and report all non-adherences to CIS standards to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Daily data entry of residential mortgage, consumer, business banking loans through respective manual or automated interface applications and balances daily work. Reviews the interfaced data and manually inputs appropriate fields. (Regulations impacted RESPA and Flood).
  • Processing Consumer loan and Collections daily maintenance requests, including all Bankruptcy maintenance. Review and resolve all Credit Disputes received thru E-Oscar, Sales Manager, daily mail or customer service, as well as completing all associated responses within required time frames. Research and resolve complex issues relating to consumer loans.
  • Ensure all advances, payments, returns and payoffs on commercial, mortgage, installment and participation bought loans are processed within our service standards. Ensure discrepancies are researched and resolved on the following daily reports - unposted, unapplied, maintenance cross check, unposted equity items from Deposit Operations. Any signatures that reject from the Deposit Operation check are validated.
  • Ensure all escrowed Taxes are updated in system and paid in a timely manner. All delinquent reporting of non-escrowed taxes are resolved in a timely manner. All late issuance of Taxes is communicated to the appropriate departments.
  • Ensure all escrowed Homeowners Insurance is updated in system and paid in a timely manner. All Private Mortgage insurance is updated in system and paid in timely manner. All escrowed Flood Insurance is updated in system and paid in a timely manner.
  • Maintains proficiency in regulatory compliance and industry developments for all areas.
  • Performs related and unrelated duties as needed or assigned by management

  • 2-4 years banking experience is required
  • Completion of high school degree or equivalent required.
  • Good research and communication skills
  • Common loan knowledge
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A basic understanding of loan legal documentation
  • Good working knowledge of IBS Insight
  • Loan knowledge including, but not limited to, billing receivables, accruals, must be able to interpret and follow loan notes, bills/statements and bank policies and procedures.
