Job Description

Candidate works independently with a large degree of discretion in developing curriculum and providing detailed instruction for all technical systems used at the Agency.   Candidate will solve moderately complex problems and provide support and direction based on their advanced knowledge of Agency Operations, the insurance market and technology as well as the agency’s standard procedures. Works with managers across EIG to conduct needs analysis and determine suitable training protocols.

This position is fast paced with multiple tasks being completed at the same time. Strong organizational skills are a must. 

Job Requirements

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-years’ Commercial Lines experience in an agency setting and previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred
  • Industry specific designations such as CISR, CPIA, CIC are preferred but not required
 
Skills/Knowledge
  • MA Property and Casualty Brokers License is required or obtained within 6 months.
  • A Commercial background is preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to employees at all levels, groups of employees, and vendors is required.  
  • Must be able to speak in front of a crowd, produce and understand training materials, work closely with individuals and evaluate how well employees have learned.
  • Strong knowledge of AMS360 database and systems is required. 
  • Experience working in the Applied EPIC product is preferred
  • Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word are required.   
  • Attention to detail is required.

Working Conditions  
Must be able to travel to all EIG locations, primarily to on-site training and support at the field office is possible
