Under the direction of the SVP/ Director of Consumer Product Management, this position is responsible for managing the ATM and ITM channels. 

Responsibilities include: 
• making strategic recommendations concerning the ATM and ITM channels;
• serving on project teams related to changes and updates which effect

• managing vendor(s) who provide support to Eastern Bank ATMs and ITMs,
• acting as a primary resource contact for branch staff as it relates to the escalation of ATM/ITM service issues.

Assist in defining ongoing stragegy for ATM and ITM channels
• Partner with the Technology division to develop roadmap and implement technology to support strategies
• Woring with the divisional SVP – asssit in the development and presentation of business cases for enhancements to support strategies
• Monitor ATM / ITM usage and trends and work order histories to make recommendations for individual machines as needed.
• Gather and document information regarding industry trends in the ATM and virtual banking industries, including offerings from bank and non-bank competition.

Serve as a resource on project teams related to changes and updates which effect ATMs/ITMs.
• Projects may include (but not be limited to) ATM and ITM deployment and optimization, and upgrades to ATM software and hardware. 
• In conjunction with the SVP/Consumer Product Manager, review and make recommendations regarding vendor relationships. 
• Assist with contract negotations and vendor adherence to contract terms.
• Validate and approve all vendor invoices.
• Participate in the search and selection for new vendors as needed.
• Serve as primary contact with vendors to discuss service issues and prioritization of work.

Job Requirements

The individual in this position will be expected to function independently and will have primary ownership of day to day decisions regarding the ATMs.  For more strategic decisions, this individual will work closely with the Director of Consumer Product Management, but will be primarily responsible for ideas and recommendations.  This individual will be required to have the analytical ability to identify opportunities and to analyze options – and also to identify and obtain the data needed for analysis.
 Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 
• 4-5 years of experience in financial services.  Project management and / or vendor management experience is required.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions and/or recommendations to management.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of ATMs a plus, but not required.  The ability to learn about the ATMs and to gain a basic understanding of technology that supports them is required.
